* new freebie friday * some new stuff *

Since mothersday is just around the corner, today there is again a freebie for mothersday. I already finished my card, but have not used my own wordart for it, so maybe I will try my hand at another one. (Specially since yesterday some new grat papers arrived! :) )
Hope you enjoy the freebie and please leave a comment when you download, thank you.

As I said yesterday some new papers arrived. Going green from Basic Grey, Jazmyne from Bo Bunny & from October afternoon The trift shop & Fly a kit. Since I haven't made a layout in ages, I bought smaller paper pads except for Bo Bunny sicne there isn't any. Wish they did, because I love most of there papers. And some lovely flowers.
Anywayz, I am looking forward tocreating with them. But first some household jobs need to be done.

* Happy Birthday card *

I am feeling much better these days, and it seems I have more energy to get back to crafting again. So happy with that, since I really missed playing around with my stuff and creating cards and layouts.
Yesterday evening I finished this card based on this weeks sketch of CPS. I used again some October Afternoon papers - Very Merry. (can you tell I love this brand :) ) No christmas card this time, but a birthday card, which always comes in handy. Supplies: white, green & pink cardstock, October Afternoon Very Merry Patterned papers, Kaisercraft flowers, Zva Creative swirls, jewels, ribbon, white puffy paint, Melissa Frances stamp, Fiskars border punch treading water.

This week also a new order came in with more Zva Bling bling (yummy) and some papers from Imaginisce & yummy Jillibean soup papers. I am off to play with those :)

* New Get Sketchy card *

Since Easter is approaching, it was high time to make some cards. This is the first one and I need to make a couple more, but there is still some time left. The digistamp is from Pollycraft I think and it suited the occasion perfectly, as did the papers from October Afternoon. The yellow ribbon fits perfectly to the yellow of the paper, but on the photo it is not so clear and looks much darker.
I used last weeks sketch of Get Sketchy and turned it to make it fitting for my needs. This week the theme is Spring. Easter to me is one of the first things that indicates that spring is coming, that, and the first snowdrops.

Supplies: white, blue and yellow cardstock, October Afternoon Ducks in a Row patterned papers, digistamp, yellow ribbon, yellow ribbon with dots, white organza ribbon, McGill flower punch, EK Success flower punch, button, My littleshoe box letterstickers.

I am off tomorrow and I am planning to do some cardmaking and scrapbooking after doing the household jobs and grocery shopping. So looking forward to that, since it's long time ago I planned a day/or afternoon for this.

Have a nice weekend!

* Finally some new cards *

It has been some time ago when I last created some cards. Finally I found some time and the inspiration this weekend to do so. There are some birthdays of little boys and girls coming up :0 so a good opportunity to make some cute cards.
First a card for a girl, based on this weeks sketch from Get Sketchy, again a lovely sketch to get you started. Supplies: white & pink cardstock, Basic Grey Sultry papers, doily lace, scalloped scissors, Kaiser Craft flowers, jewels, Melissa Frances rub ons, ribbon, digi stamp from Bugaboo.

The next card is based on a sketch from Taylored Expressions. There are many sketch challenges on the net and I wish I had time to enter them all... but no such luck. On occasion I like to use a different challenge than my regular ones.
This time a boy card and I used the same stamp as with my previous card. Some old October Afternoon papers but they are still so lovely. Their new lines The Thrift Shop & Fly a Kite are gorgeous as well, hope they will be in the shops soon in Holland

Supplies: white, blue & yellow cardstock, October Afternoon Ducks in a Row papers, ribbon, Martha Stewart doily lace borderpunch, digi stamp Bugaboo.

* October afternoon sketches *

Over @ the October Afternoon blog there is a sketch challenge which is in it self already hard to resist. Butttt.... the best part is that with this challenge comes the change to win a paper pack of Cherry Hill. How great is that?
I simply love the new Cherry Hill and Ducks in a Row lines.

Of course I pulled out my OA papers to play. This is my result. There were 3 sketches posted but I only had time for 2 (for the deadline that is, the other sketch will follow later this week) Supplies: White & blue cardstock; October Afternoon Detour papers, ribbon, pins, white puffy paint, Fiskars borderpunch, corner punch, Melissa Frances rub on.

Supplies: White and green cardstock, October Afternoon Detours papers, twine, Melissa Frances rub on.
Don't you love the different looks created with the same paper line?
